Storey-Bono 2015.pngConcannon Miller is proud to announce its Director of Marketing & Business Development Betsy Storey-Bono has been named a Lehigh Valley Business Women of Influence for 2017.

Betsy established Concannon Miller’s marketing department when she started with the company in 2003. In addition to marketing and business development, Betsy has been instrumental in helping the firm’s shareholders develop their strategic plan for the future.

In her 14 years with Concannon Miller, Betsy has played an integral role in its growth, which has nearly doubled in her time.

“Betsy’s innovation and market insight have been major factors in Concannon Miller’s growth during her tenure,” Concannon Miller President & COO Ted Witman says. “We are very proud as a firm she’s been named a Lehigh Valley Business Women of Influence.”

During her tenure, Betsy switched Concannon Miller’s marketing focus from mostly newspaper advertisements to a more modern digital marketing strategy with a strong emphasis on thought leadership content marketing. Betsy recently oversaw the development of the firm’s new high impact, fully optimized website, resulting in doubling of traffic.

Betsy also spearheaded the creation of the firm’s successful Next Gen Academy for Leadership and Finance for participants in McDonald’s Next Generation program. The academy has been held annually since 2016, receiving rave reviews both times.

“Our Next Gen Academy has been a tremendous success, for which Betsy deserves much of the creative and organizational credit,” Concannon Miller Director of Business Development & Client Relations Laura Gaythwaite says.

Betsy is highly involved in the Lehigh Valley community, serving on the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania Advisory Board, CREW Lehigh Valley, the ArtsQuest Marketing Steering Committee and the Muhlenberg College Board of Associates. She formerly served on the United Way of Greater Lehigh Valley Marketing and Communications Steering Committee and Child Care Information Systems Board of Directors.

Betsy and the other 2017 Women of Influence winners will be honored at a ceremony May 10.
