Brady-color.jpgConcannon, Miller & Co. is proud to announce Shareholder Andrea L. Brady, CPA, has been named a Lehigh Valley Business Forty Under 40 award winner for 2016.

Andrea heads the firm’s audit niche and was one of the youngest individuals in the history of the firm to be offered an equity position. She has been with the firm since graduating from Lehigh University in 2002.

“Andrea has an astute ability to go beyond technical accounting services and really develop a meaningful and important relationship with clients,” Concannon Miller CEO Bob Oster says. “We’re pleased Lehigh Valley Business recognized her many accomplishments.”

Andrea led efforts to grow the firm’s manufacturing and distribution services niche, working closely with colleagues, clients and the community to position Concannon Miller as the firm of choice amongst manufacturers and distributors.  She is a graduate of the Manufacturing Resource Center’s Manufacturing Leadership Institute and a key representative in the firm’s membership in Manufacturing  CPAs, an elite association of CPA firms with strong practices and services specifically tailored to manufacturing businesses.

“As a firm, it's important to respond to the needs of our client groups. As the regional manufacturing sector's needs and opportunities have grown, Andrea has been a leader in identifying opportunities and crafting solutions to help them grow,” Concannon Miller Director of Marketing and Business Development Betsy Storey-Bono says.  “She is an invaluable resource, not only to those manufacturers, but to our entire client base.”

Andrea is an active member of the board of Community Services for Children, where she has served as chair of the board’s finance committee since 2009 and as the board’s treasurer from 2009 through 2015.

Concannon Miller prides itself on providing opportunities to its young professionals and leaders. The firm has a Next Generation Leadership Program where its top young leaders are provided additional professional and leadership training, as well as tuition reimbursement for graduate school.

“Our young leaders are the future of our firm, so we put a high value on providing them opportunities,” Concannon Miller President & COO Ted Witman says. “Andrea has long been a top young leader at Concannon Miller and we’re proud of her continued success.”

Andrea and the other 2016 Forty Under 40 winners will be honored at a ceremony June 13.
