Concannon Miller CPAs to Present on Nonprofit FinancesConcannon Miller’s nonprofit team will be the featured speakers in the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley’s LEAD Now course on nonprofit finances.

Shareholder Andrea Brady, CPA, CEPA, and Senior Manager Cary Giacalone, CPA, will present “Nonprofit Finances: What you Need to Know and How to Ask” on May 9 as part of the LEAD Now series. The series is a training program for current and future nonprofit board members.


Andrea and Cary, who advise nonprofits on accounting, tax and consulting matters, will instruct nonprofit board members on important topics including:

  • Nonprofit financial statements
  • Unrelated business income tax
  • Understanding the services of external accountants
  • How to identify red flags through key ratios


LEAD Now starts April 25 and has sessions on fundraising, legal issues and DEI in addition to nonprofit finances. More information on the series for nonprofit board members can be found here.
