Denise Hozza colorConcannon Miller is proud to announce Denise Hozza, CPA, CVA, a director on its small business team, has been named a Lehigh Valley Business Women of Influence winner for 2020.

Denise, a Certified Valuation Analyst, leads the firm’s valuation team. She’s been an accountant for more than 37 years, rising through the ranks from Senior Accountant to Manager to Senior Manager and now Director.

“Denise provides valuable guidance, and is a true trusted advisor to our small business clients,” said Andrew Kahn, CPA, MBA, CFP, CEPA, who heads the firm’s small business team. “She’s played a big part in helping both her clients and our firm succeed throughout the years.”

Denise enjoys mentoring the firm’s younger accountants, both with the technical and client relations skills they need.

“When I started at Concannon Miller there were few female managers and I hope my promotion and the promotion of other women since then is helpful and inspirational to the current young female accountants,” Denise said.

Denise is also incredibly active in the community, currently serving as treasurer for CREW Lehigh Valley, a member of the Whitehall Area Rotary and a finance committee member and lector at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church. She also served on the board of March of Dimes Northeast Pennsylvania for 14 years.

“Denise is a highly valued leader for our firm, her clients and our community and we are incredibly proud of her honor,” Concannon Miller President & COO Ted Witman said.

Denise will be honored June 15 as part of Lehigh Valley Business’s Women of Influence event.
