Nominations are due June 1 for the Sept. 14 event. The CFO of the Year awards honor the Greater Lehigh Valley’s financial executives for the critical role they play in making their companies successful.

“The role of the CFO grows ever more important, with many being tasked with providing leadership and vision in addition to overseeing company finances,” Concannon Miller President & COO Ted Witman says. “It’s a strategically important role that deserves to be celebrated.”

New to the awards this year is the Rising Star Award, recognizing up-and-coming financial executives. Eligibility includes positions that report to a CFO such as analysts, managers and vice presidents who oversee financial matters, and may likely be a CFO someday.

“As business accountants and consultants, Concannon Miller works with many stellar CFOs of great Lehigh Valley companies,” Witman says. “We’re enthusiastically looking forward to recognizing some of the area’s top CFOs at this year’s awards.”
