Fueled by record growth, Concannon Miller has jumped significantly on a national list of top accounting firms.

Concannon Miller ranked No. 191 on the INSIDE Public Accounting’s Top 200 Firms list for 2022. It’s the first time the firm has ranked in the Top 200.

Concannon Miller’s revenue grew a record 27.34% in 2021, a significant leap that also landed the firm on Accounting Today’s Fastest Growing Firms list in the U.S. for 2022.

Concannon Miller is pleased to announce the naming of three new managers on its McDonald’s Team.

Laura Guidry, CPA, Cody Oakes, CPA, and David Wessman, CPA, MBA, have all been promoted from senior staff accountants to managers. They all work in the St. Petersburg, Florida office.

Their promotions will improve services to the firm’s McDonald’s franchise clients, a central and growing firm specialty. Laura, Cody and David all have many years experience advising McDonald’s Owners on tax, accounting and advisory issues.

Concannon Miller’s revenue grew 27.34% in 2021, landing the firm at No. 20 on the prestigious list.

The firm’s growth was largely because of increased consulting services to clients, especially related to COVID-19 tax credits and other funding. Concannon Miller also completed a strategic acquisition in fall 2020, expanding the firm’s expertise and capabilities.

Concannon Miller is pleased to announce Jess Cyphers, CPA, has been admitted as a shareholder of the firm.

Mr. Cyphers is a leader in the firm’s small business niche, advising manufacturers, real estate companies, and professional services firms. He specializes in tax planning, accounting, consulting and employee benefit plan audits.

Mr. Cyphers holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from West Chester University and has worked in public accounting for more than 20 years. He is a board member of the Estate Planning Council of the Lehigh Valley.

Concannon Miller is now a three-time winner of the prestigious Best of Accounting award for providing superior service, given through the third party national consulting firm ClearlyRated.

The national award is based solely on client reviews. Concannon Miller received a Net Promoter Score of 92.8%, far greater than the industry’s average of 38% in 2021. Net Promoter Scores range from -100 to 100.

Concannon Miller’s 92.8% Net Promoter Score ranks the firm in the top 13% of all ClearlyRated accounting clients.

The High Center Family Business Center Lehigh Valley Chapter has officially launched, with its first peer group under way.

Concannon Miller has been ranked for the third year in a row on INSIDE Public Accounting’s Top Firms list, the premier ranking of public accounting firms.

The firm ranked No. 230 on the prestigious list, landing them within INSIDE Public Accounting’s Top 300 Firms list for 2021. There are more than 42,000 accounting firms nationwide.

The firm won the BDO Alliance USA’s COVID-19 Resiliency award in the small-to-midsize firm category. BDO Alliance USA is among the industry’s largest associations of accounting and professional service firms with more than 740 independent Alliance firm locations.

The COVID-19 Resiliency award recognizes firms’ achievements in 2020 in light of the global pandemic. While 2020 was a down year for many businesses, Concannon Miller set a firm revenue record, maintained all of its staff and underwent a successful merger.

Concannon Miller was named a Regional Leader in Accounting Today’s top firms listing for 2021.

The rankings are based on annual revenue. Concannon Miller’s revenue grew 5.4 percent from 2019 to 2020, the year the rankings are based on.

Concannon Miller ranks 34^th in the Mid-Atlantic region – which includes New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania – and third in Pennsylvania.
