Concannon Miller is proud to again be the presenting sponsor for ArtsQuest’s great RiverJazz festival.

The sixth annual festival, which includes a wide variety of jazz performances in April and May, features 20-time Grammy winner Pat Metheny, Billboard chart-topper Jessy J, and venerable songwriter Delbert McClinton.

“RiverJazz brings internationally-acclaimed jazz, blues and even rock artists to our region each spring, providing a unique experience for jazz aficionados and music lovers in general,” Concannon Miller CEO Bob Oster says. “This series also showcases talented local jazz artists, including some of our amazing high school bands that compete in the SteelStacks Jazz Band Showcase, alongside these world-renowned artists.”

“Concannon Miller is again thrilled to be part of this series, and we’re excited by how much it’s grown over the past six years,” Oster says.

Concannon Miller hosted its annual College Night this week, with more than 20 students in attendance from DeSales University and Moravian College.

The students had the opportunity to submit their resumes for internships and jobs, and Concannon Miller employees shared what it’s like to work at the firm.

Major Affordable Care Act employer reporting requirements are fast approaching and Lehigh Valley business owners should be prepared.

The Manufacturers Resource Center, in partnership with Concannon, Miller & Co. and The Equinox Agency, is offering a free seminar Nov. 3 at Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center to fully prepare Lehigh Valley business owners for the 2015 reporting requirements.

The event is intended for companies with 50 or more full-time equivalent employees, who are required to submit 1094C & 1095C tax forms by early 2016 for the 2015 year. 1095C forms are due to employees Feb. 1, 2016 while 1094C & 1095C forms are due to the IRS on Feb. 29 or March 31 if filing electronically.
