Longtime Concannon Miller CEO Robert Oster and his wife, Cindy, are being honored with the prestigious Philanthropy in the Arts Linny Award by the ArtsQuest Foundation. The Bethlehem-based couple will receive the award during the 2019 Linny Awards Celebration Nov. 14, 6 p.m., at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.

Concannon Miller Director Denise Hozza, CPA, CVA, is taking part in an upcoming panel discussion on financial and estate planning strategies for women.

The Diocese of Allentown is hosting the “Estate Planning for Women” event from 6 to 8 p.m. May 16 at DeSales University.

Concannon Miller Shareholder Ron Cressman, CPA, CVA, will be speaking as part of a session on financial health at the 2019 W.O.N. National Business Meeting.

Cressman will detail the latest business tax changes impacting McDonald’s franchisees. Most of those changes were part of the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

Concannon Miller announces it has won a prestigious ClearlyRated’s Best of Accounting award for providing superior service.

The national award is based solely on client reviews. Concannon Miller received satisfaction scores of 9 or 10 out of 10 from 91% of their clients, significantly higher than the industry’s average of 45% in 2019.

ClearlyRated’s survey determines a Net Promoter Score for each firm. The survey earned Concannon Miller a Net Promoter Score of 87.7, more than three times the industry’s average of 24 in 2019. Net Promoter Scores range from -100 to 100.

Concannon Miller has joined the BDO Alliance USA, a nationwide association of independently owned local and regional accounting, consulting and service firms with similar client service goals.

Concannon Miller was honored to host Congresswoman Susan Wild for a business outreach visit.

Congresswoman Wild said she is working to meet with many businesses, municipalities and individuals in her first months in office.

“A critical part of this job is forming partnerships,” she said.
