Presented by the Chamber’s Small Business Council, Concannon Miller, a CPA and business consulting firm, is the winner in the 26-100 employee category. The award recognizes companies which exemplify excellence in business, including customer satisfaction, community involvement and a demonstrated commitment to quality and employee development.

Small and mid-size businesses are the lifeblood of the U.S. economy. And there are many programs in place to help such businesses capture opportunities to invest in their growth and success.

The firm has been an arts patron for more than 30 years. While Musikfest is a nationally-known festival today, it was a hard sell when it was first pitched in 1984.

The sixth annual event will be held Sept. 19 at DeSales University. The CFO of the Year awards honor the Greater Lehigh Valley’s financial executives for the critical role they play in making their companies successful.

Cakes are commonplace at many office celebrations.
